Rooms that came back.

01
Colonial in Maplewood
Dining Room
Cluttered colonial dining room with mail and backpacks on the table before redesign
Before
Bright, open colonial dining room with proper lighting and clear table after redesign
After

The dining table had become a second desk — mail, backpacks, the slow archaeology of family life. We cleared the visual weight, added task lighting at the right height, and brought back the chairs nobody sat in.

First dinner party in four years — three weeks after handoff.

02
Ranch in Oak Park
Kitchen
Cluttered ranch kitchen with counters covered in appliances before redesign
Before
Clean, organized ranch kitchen with clear countertops and better workflow after redesign
After

Counter space had been surrendered one appliance at a time. The coffee maker, the toaster, the air fryer nobody asked for. We mapped the actual workflow, found twelve inches of hidden counter, and stopped the bleeding.

"We cook together on weeknights now." — Renee & Marcus, Oak Park

03
Split-level in Brookside
Living Room
Disorganized split-level living room with mismatched furniture from different decades before redesign
Before
Cohesive, warm split-level living room with intentional furniture arrangement after redesign
After

The room had three separate conversation areas that talked to no one. Furniture inherited from two different households, two different decades. We found the room's actual bones and let them do the work.

The kids started doing homework in there. Voluntarily.

Renee made me text you. she says the kitchen 'feels like it belongs to us now'. I just know I can find the spatula when I need it which is honestly all I wanted
